How to Use the Enhance Quality AI Feature?
The Enhance Quality tool in the AI Features section of the app allows you to improve your images using advanced AI technology. You can either increase image resolution or restore clarity and sharpness, depending on your needs.
This guide walks you through how to use the feature step by step.
Step 1: Select Image Type
First, choose the type of images you want to edit. You can select from the following:
- Product Images
- Collection Cover Images
- Blog Article Images
- Content File Images
Select the appropriate image type before proceeding to the next step.
Step 2: Set Conditions to Find Images for Editing
Next, define the conditions to locate the images you want to enhance. You can filter images using the product title, collection, tags, all products, and other available filters.
Note: If you cannot find a specific collection or blog, click the Sync Collections or Sync Blogs button in the top right corner to refresh the list.
Step 3: Preview Images Matching the Conditions
After setting your filters, preview the images that match your conditions. This ensures that the correct images will be edited before running the task.
Note: If you are unsure about running a bulk edit, you can test with a single image first before running a large bulk edit. You may do this by clicking the Select Individual Images to Edit and clicking the Select This Image To Edit button on an image.
Step 4 (Optional): More Image File Filters
You may further refine your selection using additional image filters, such as image file size, image height, image width, all the images, etc.
This step is optional but helpful if you only want to enhance specific image sizes.
Step 5: Choose the Image Edit Type
You will now select the type of AI enhancement to apply. There are currently two options: Upscale image resolution & Enhance quality while maintaining dimensions
Please note that both AI features use 2 image edit credits per image. Additionally, only images with dimensions 1400×1400 pixels or smaller can be processed.
1. Upscale Image Resolution
This option enlarges your images using AI while preserving high visual quality. Each image is increased to 2 times its original width and 2 times its original height, with proportional scaling applied automatically.
This option is ideal when you need higher-resolution images for improved display quality, larger screens, or zoom functionality.
2. Enhance Image Quality
This one will Improve image clarity and sharpness using advanced AI technology. It’s especially effective for slightly blurry images, minor camera shake, or hard-to-read text.
The enhanced image retains its original dimensions (width × height). This option increases sharpness and clarity without changing the image size.
