FAQs and Tips
How Monthly Edit Quotas Work
Each image edit counts toward your monthly quota. For example:
- Editing 20 images uses 20 credits.
- Editing the same image again in a new task counts as another credit/edit.
Monthly quotas reset automatically on the first day of each month.
Previews and task setup do not consume edits. Edits are only counted when a task is applied.
What Happens When You Reach Your Monthly Edit Limit
When you reach your quota, you can no longer edit images until your quota resets or you upgrade to a higher plan. Edits require server processing, which is why quotas exist. You can choose to:
- Wait for the limit to reset
- Upgrade to a higher plan with a larger edit limit
- Review and plan future tasks to reduce unnecessary edits
Does Reverting a Task Restore Edit Credits?
Reverting a task does not restore edit credits. Even if an image returns to its original state, the edits have already counted toward your quota and cannot be refunded. It simply re-uploads the backup image that was produced by the task. Backups are stored for a specified amount of time depending on the app plan you are subscribed to.
For this reason, we recommend carefully previewing tasks before applying them to avoid unnecessary edits.
Choosing the Right Plan
To select the best plan for your store, consider the following:
- Small stores or occasional edits - The Free and Basic plan is often sufficient for testing features or making infrequent updates.
- Medium-sized catalogs - The Pro plan is recommended if you regularly update images, add watermarks, or resize product images.
- Large stores or frequent bulk edits - The Advanced and Enterprise plan is ideal for stores with tens of thousands of images or ongoing bulk image optimization needs.
