How do I create and schedule tasks? (BIE)

A task is a set of Bulk Editing instructions submitted to our app for processing. Below are instructions for creating two types of tasks in our Bulk Image Edit app:

How to create a Single Task:

Select the tool you want to use, such as Minimize. Setup the filters to target the right image(s), select the desired modification and then click Start Bulk Editing. A task has now been created. This task can now be viewed under One-time Tasks at the bottom of the sidebar. The task will then begin to edit your images, provided that you have enough credits.

How to create a Scheduled Task:

To schedule a task, follow the instructions above except click on Start Bulk Editing & Run Daily instead of Start Bulk Editing Now. This will then create a scheduled task that will run at the same time daily. Every scheduled task on your store can be seen under View Scheduled Tasks at the bottom of the sidebar.

How do i create more than one scheduled task?

You can only create more than one scheduled task by upgrading to one of our paid plans. The basic plan allows up to five (5) scheduled plan and the professional plan onwards offers unlimited scheduled tasks.

However, only one task can run at once - they have to be done in sequence. Once the first task is complete, it will move onto the next task in the queue.
