How to use Crop feature? •
Hextom: Bulk Image Edit offers a Crop feature to cut parts of images in bulk, unlike the Trim function, which removes excess borders.
To use the task functionality:
- Open Crop task from the dashboard or the app’s sidebar.
- Select the type of images that you would like to edit.
- Use filters to find and select images you want to match and edit.
Previewing displays the images from this collection.
- After matching images, choose how you'd like to edit them.
We offer 3 types of crop, each with similar actions, resulting in a total of 7 different crop tasks.
These include:
Crop to Aspect Ratio
This uses the image's Aspect Ratio (width-to-height ratio) to determine the required crop.
It includes 3 tasks:
- Crop to aspect ratio (any side necessary)
- Crop to aspect ratio (left & right sides of wide image)
- Crop to aspect ratio (top & bottom sides of tall image)
Crop to aspect Ratio (any side necessary)
Uses the aspect ratio and adjusts it based on the value inputted.
Crop to aspect ratio (left & right sides of wide image)
Crops a wide image based on the aspect ratio, adjusting the left, right, or both sides.
Crop to aspect ratio (top & bottom sides of tall image)
Crops a tall image based on the aspect ratio, adjusting the top, bottom, or both sides.
Crop by Percentage
This crops the image based on a specific percentage value and includes 2 tasks:
Crop by percentage (top, bottom, left, right)
You can choose a side to crop the image based on the set percentage.
Crop by percentage (all sides of the image)
Crops the image on all sides, prioritizing the center.
Lower values crop more, while higher values crop less.
Crop by Pixels
This method crops images more precisely using a specific number of pixels.
It includes two tasks:
Crop by pixels (top, bottom, left, right)
Used to remove a specific number of pixels from one side of the image.
Crop by pixels (all sides of the image)
Crops all sides of an image by a fixed number of pixels.
That concludes the tasks available with the Crop Feature. Below is a video tutorial for your reference.
