How to use Trim feature? •
The Trim function in our app automatically removes excess borders to make your product the main focus. Our algorithm looks at the top-left corner pixel to identify your background color. It then trims away any matching solid-colored margins from all four sides.
Please note that trimming usually changes the original width-to-height ratio, which may cause your product images to look inconsistent in size. To ensure all your product photos look uniform on your storefront, we recommend following a Trim task with a Canvas Resize task. This will center your newly trimmed product on a consistent, standard-sized canvas.
Example:

Step-by-step guide:
-
Open the Trim tool in the app's dashboard or by selecting it in the side bar.

-
Select which image type you want to edit.

-
Use the filters to find and select the images you want to match and edit.

Click the Preview Matching Images button to preview the images you have filtered.

-
Optional step: You can use additional filters to narrow down your filtered images and target specific images. For example, if you only want to edit the 1st image on each product, you would select "Image position of a product is 1st image (used as product cover)".

-
Select the option trim excess border/margin from the image.

If you want to skip editing images that our app has already trimmed previously, check the box Skip BIE trimmed images.

6. Click the Start Bulk Editing button to start the task.
Once the task is complete, you will see a cleaner, more focused product image with the excess borders removed:
